Below are answers to some of the questions we are often asked.  If YOU have a question, use the form at the left to ask us and we'll resonpond to you via email.

Mrs. A: My insurance company said I have a $500 deductible. Do I really have to pay this amount or can you bury it somewhere in the estimate?

Xperts: Mrs. A, unfortunately we do not “bury” deductibles. In fact, conspiring to “bury the deductible” is committing fraud against the insurance company and is against the law. Additionally, a body shop willing to cheat an insurance company will be equally willing to cheat a vehicle owner. We do however understand that coming up with the money for an unplanned deductible can be difficult, and that is why we offer financing options. Our recommendation is that you take some time, and read over our flexible financing page and our page about burying the deductible. And of course, if you have questions that you can not find the answer for on our website, please feel free to contact one of our offices and one of our staff can discuss any questions you may have.

Mr. B: My insurance company wants to use “used parts” in the repair of me vehicle, should I be concerned?

Xperts: Mr. B, you are not required to utilize “recycled parts” in the repair of your vehicle. However, the type of parts utilized is something that you must negotiate with your insurance company. Additionally, you can rest assured that any part, new or recycled, goes through a meticulous inspection before we ever put it on a vehicle.

Ms. C: I was rear-ended last evening while sitting at a stoplight. There appears to be some light scratching but that is all I can see, should I file a claim with my insurance company for something so minor?

Xperts: Ms. C, first, it is important that you understand that any damage to a vehicle may diminish the value of the vehicle should you ever try to resell it. Most importantly, even though you may not see any major damage to the exterior of the vehicle, there are very important safety components under the exterior panels that may have been damaged. At Auto Body Xperts, we provide you with an X-ray estimate. Simply, put we will remove the exterior panels of your vehicle so that we can inspect the hidden structural components to make sure that they are not damaged. Our suggestion is to come to one of our shops and let our friendly staff provide you with an X-ray estimate, that way you will know for sure the extent of the damage.
